On the Wing

Flying in the face of widespread left wing extremism!

Holiday madness.

Posted by Exile on September 4, 2006

Another case of “Sudden Jihad Syndrome”. This time in Jordan, where a sudden jihadi gave vent to his spontaneous islamic urges and shot up a bunch of “western” tourists.

A British man was killed today when a lone gunman shouting “Allahu Akbar!” (“God is Great”) started firing at a group of Western tourists in the Jordanian capital Amman.
Five other tourists – two British women, one Australian woman, one New Zealand woman and a Dutch man – were injured in the attack as well as a Jordanian policeman.
The gunman, in his 30s and named by officials as Nabeel Ahmed Issa Jaourah, was a Jordanian from the town of Zarqa, the birthplace of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the slain former al-Qaeda frontman.

I must admit, I have a problem feeling any sympathy with these people. Who in their right mind would go to a muslim land for their holidays? Why would anybody want to put their hard earned savings into a country where the population is clearly made up of people who wish us no good?
It’s a bit like putting your hand into a wasps nest and then wondering why you got stung.

It beats the hell out of me.

I wonder if any of them were Muslims themselves.
