Umran Javed: Guilty as charged.

Posted by Exile on January 6, 2007

The Old Bailey did it right. The jury convicted Umran Javed of soliciting murder and inciting racial hatred during the oh-so-spontaneous islamic demonstration in London in february last year. Finally the Brits have tired of muslim indignation. About time too. The time has long passed for some “British indignation” served cold, courtesy of Her Majesty’s Prison.
I hereby deem the Old Bailey as anti-jihadi.
Sentencing will be carried out in April but I can wait. The offences are the same as those for which Abu Hamza al-Masri, he of the hooks-for-hands-fame, the former imam of Finsbury Park mosque, was jailed for and sentenced to seven years imprisonment in february last year. (Strangely enough, around the same time the rioting and demonstrations were taking place). The maximum sentence for soliciting murder is life imprisonment. I hope he gets it.
The Times reported thus:

Court ‘cursed’ as cartoon protester is convicted of incitement.

Screams at judge after Muslim’s trial.
Threats ‘were just soundbites’.

Islamic mouthpiece Umran JavedExtremists screamed insults at an Old Bailey judge yesterday as a British Muslim was convicted of inciting murder during protests against the publication of cartoons depicting the Prophet Muhammad.
There was uproar in court as the verdict was delivered and the Common Serjeant of London, Judge Brian Barker, QC, remanded Javed, a married father of one child, in custody.
One man was led from the public gallery by security guards after shouting: “Allahu Akbar [God is greatest], I curse the judge, the court, the jury, all of you.”

What can you expect? More muslim indignation over the law of the land. Scream all you want Mo, the law still exists. I hope the screaming islamic idiot has been arrested on charges of threatening or insulting the court. That would make for another interesting trial.
And probably more islamic indignation!

Other friends and supporters of Javed also shouted insults. Sitting with them was Parveen Sharif, 37, who was acquitted at the Old Bailey in 2005 of charges of failing to disclose information about the activities of her brother, Omar, who took part in a suicide bomb attack in Tel Aviv in 2003.
Like Omar Sharif, 27, Javed had links with the recently banned group al-Muhajiroun, which was led by the extremist cleric Omar Bakri Mohammad.

You can tell a lot about the cut of a man’s jib just by looking at his friends and associates. This creep wasn’t acting alone or naively. He is part of the islamic jihad in Great Britain. A would-be terrorist murderer and one of the leading lights in the struggle to overthrow the British government and way of life for millions. I am tired of being threatened by islamic fanatics. We should make an example of a few of them. Javed should put away for a very long time.

I hope they remember that in April.
