On the Wing

Flying in the face of widespread left wing extremism!

You can help the 910 Group.

Posted by Exile on January 13, 2007

The 910 Group has started a petition to save one soul in Iran. The implications of this may save thousands.

Nazanin Mahabad Fatehi is a 19-year old Iranian girl, sentenced to death by hanging, for killing a man who ambushed and tried to rape her. After major public pressure by citizen activists (over 300,000 petition signatures), a higher court met January 11, 2007 and determined that the killing was unintentional.
In a few days, a final ruling will determine if she receives the death sentence, a long prison term or is released. Sign the petition to free her and the hundreds of other Iranian women unjustly imprisoned:

Dear Friends,
I have just read and signed the online petition:

“Save Nazanin”

hosted on the web by PetitionOnline.com, the free online petition
service, at:

http://www.PetitionOnline.com/Nazanin/

I personally agree with what this petition says, and I think you might
agree, too. If you can spare a moment, please take a look, and consider
signing yourself.
Finally, if you support this cause to save this woman, e-mail the link above to everyone you can and encourage them to sign it and propagate it further. If you have a blog, then please blog this with the link.

Thanks.
