Brussels Demo Back on Track

This is what I had hoped for. At last we Europeans seem to have found some courage. This from SIOE ‘s website:

SIOE continues

Posted by Sitemaster on August 16th, 2007

The anger at Mayor Thielemans’s ban of the 11th September Brussels demo has sparked a torch of unprecedented defiance.

It has been made clear to SIOE that people intend to go to Brussels to do their own thing and even make their feelings known in Islamic sections of Brussels.

Therefore, we feel it would be much better to hold a demo under the original rules http://siad.wordpress.com/2007/07/11/aims-of-the-march-911/ which were very popular.

This will keep to the intention of having a peaceful demonstration and will make it easier to maintain the security and safety of demonstrators and the general public.

So the Stop Islamisation Of Europe demo goes ahead as planned.

So keep your eye on SIOE, and hopefully the details concerning the meeting place, route, duration, etc., will be published soon. A little defiance is a good thing every now and then. See you all in Brussels.

Looking at the blogosphere, you’d think this movement is definitely gathering momentum. But first a reminder that the SIOE Petition to the Mayor of Brussels, Freddy Thielemans to allow the 9/11 rally “Stop Islamization of Europe” can be signed HERE….
