Saudi Human Rights Body Raises Issue of Delays at US Airports.
Wednesday, 05 December 2007
RIYADH – The Saudi Human Rights Commission Tuesday raised with a visiting delegation from the United States Embassy here the issue of Saudi students being made to wait as long as seven hours at US airports to clear entry procedures, a report said.
He said the Commission’s Chairman, Turki Al-Sudairy, expressed his concern that Saudi students who have study visas still have to suffer the long delays caused by entry procedures.
Well, at least they aren’t being gang raped, accused and found guilty of adultery, imprisoned for months and given 200 lashes with a whip for flying while sitting next to a stranger.
That must please the Saudi Human Rights Commission no end.
