Britains Double Standards

I’ve been scratching my head for a few hours now, wondering just what the hell is going on in the UK. The past few days, I have been following the fortunes of a British, christian, dyed in the wool patriot calling himself Lionheart, who is about to be arrested on his eventual return to the UK for, quote, stirring up racial hatred. Having read his blog, I can’t really see that, but the police are taking it seriously.
Imagine then my surprise, to read in The Times, about a particularly vociferous and vile sect that apparently can get away with any amount of racial hatred and even incites to terror and violence and the destruction of the British society whilst living and being allowed to work in the UK.
I am talking about the Deobandi, the islamic extremist founders of the Taleban movement in Afghanistan and Pakistan. The radical muslim sect now runs about half of the mosques in Great Britain and is headed up by a certain Riyadh ul Haq. A radical islamist if there ever was one. This sect is openly demanding the destruction of the secular state and supports terrorist activity all over the world.
From the Times article;
Almost half of Britain’s mosques are under the control of a hardline Islamic sect whose leading preacher loathes Western values and has called on Muslims to “shed blood” for Allah, an investigation by The Times has found.
Riyadh ul Haq, who supports armed jihad and preaches contempt for Jews, Christians and Hindus, is in line to become the spiritual leader of the Deobandi sect in Britain. The ultra-conservative movement, which gave birth to the Taleban in Afghanistan, now runs more than 600 of Britain’s 1,350 mosques, according to a police report seen by The Times.
The Times investigation casts serious doubts on government statements that foreign preachers are to blame for spreading the creed of radical Islam in Britain’s mosques and its policy of enouraging the recruitment of more “home-grown” preachers.
Mr ul Haq, 36, was educated and trained at an Islamic seminary in Britain and is part of a new generation of British imams who share a similar radical agenda. He heaps scorn on any Muslims who say they are “proud to be British” and argues that friendship with a Jew or a Christian makes “a mockery of Allah’s religion”.
This chap is doubtless one of the many that have enriched the cultural society in Great britain and is obviously highly regarded by Gordon Brown, Ken Livingstone, et al, in that the sects leaders are not being arrested for stirring up racial hatred, as is “Lionheart”.
Apparently, the politicians haven’t yet got the message that interracial relations are supposed to work both ways.
If you choose to arrest Lionheart, then one would have to assume that ul Haq, living under the same laws, is also facing the imminent threat of incarceration?
Wrong. It would appear that only white christian people can be accused of stirring up racial hatred in Great Britain. How about that for double standard? Appalling, but seemingly true.
Lionheart, get a respray, grow a ridiculous beard, wear a dress and convert to islam. All your problems will evaporate.
Unfortunately, even The Times has to come with some form of disclaimer on its own article. They are probably aware of the racial “equality” laws! Further down, one can read the following;
The sect, which has significant representation on the Muslim Council of Britain, is at its strongest in the towns and cities of the Midlands and northern England.
It is not suggested that all British Muslims who worship at Deobandi mosques subscribe to the isolationist message preached by Mr ul Haq, and he himself suggests Muslims should only “shed blood” overseas.
“It is not suggested…” No. But that doesn’t make it any less true or any less threatening. And the “shedding blood overseas” bit? Read, “live in Britain, kill people in Holland, Belgium, France, Spain or wherever, and then come home to base camp”. The same message is doubtless being spread in those countries too.
I wonder. Who will have the audacity to make some form of complaint against these people? Their activity is exposed here for all to see. Surely the righteous British Government and the police, with all the tools at its disposal, will be closing down these mosques and imprisoning the imams without further ado?
Don’t hold your breath while you wait. But do read the article linked below.
