Living Under the Taleban

Posted by Exile on February 22, 2009

Want to know what’s really going on inside Pakistan? I found this on the Timesonline.

What I found in Swat was a hell-hole. Suicide bombings, car bombs and artillery have scarred the valley’s roads and buildings. The charred remains of hospitals and even a madrasah (seminary) litter the landscape.

Nearly 200 schools have been destroyed, all girls over the age of eight are banned from lessons and, in a symbol of the Taliban’s hatred of learning, the public library in Mingora has been wrecked..

There’s more.

Read this.

Tell me. How can the Pakistani government allow this?

Our allies?

No. I don’t think so.

Hat tip: Timesonline.

ok, what’s happened to kenlydell’s “Islamic Evil” website. It appears to be almost completely erased. There’s nothing on waybackmachine (Internet Archive) and though it still comes up on Google, only the cached gives any info,…

…but just a list of the pages that aren’t there any more. The site was a gold mine of information, and it’s loss is a significant victory for the enemies of freedom and truth.

Is that material available anywhere else?

    Thanks

What an extremely good question. I wish I had an extremely good answer. I believe Ken gave up the blog about two years ago and left it to stand for posterity. It may be that his provider “cleans up” once in a while and erases material after a given length of time? Or maybe Ken just stopped paying for the site? I have no idea. He is sorely missed though.
